Raw Material Inspection: Visual Inspection for size and surface defects. One specimen per heat is examined for macro structure analysis. One specimen per heat is drawn for chemical test analysis & evaluation. One specimen per heat is drawn for physical tests like micro structure/Grain size/Inclusion rating examination. Identification Marking by color code.

Forging & Trimming Die Inspection: Die hardness & surface finish inspection. Die block material testing. Die lay out & dimensional inspection. Plaster cast lay  out & inspection.

Forging Stage Inspection: Hot Inspection: First 10 pcs are inspected after the die setting &  2 pcs at every 1 hour interval for forging defects & dimension control.  Cold stage: First 5 pcs at the time of die set up. 1 pc is inspected for complete dimensional  layout after the die setup & 1 pc per shift thereafter.

Heat Treatment Stage Inspection:  Hardness testing of 10 pieces per H/T batch.  One specimen per H/T batch is checked for micro structure examination & physical properties as required case to case.

Final Inspection: 100 % visual inspection for forging defects. 100 % major dimensional inspection. 1 pc for complete dimensional lay out & inspection. 100% Magnaflux test where required.
